Good to catch-up with Paul and Toby from Suffolk Chamber of Commerce this afternoon. We discussed a range of issues relating to local businesses in Suffolk and what more can be done to support them.
I work closely with Suffolk Chamber to make sure local businesses get the priority they deserve, including recently to raise concerns around energy costs for businesses. So, it was good to discuss a number of other key issues for the Town, like City Status and the Town Deal, as well as some other projects like my ongoing push for rail upgrades at Haughley Junction, the need for 5G in Ipswich, and what we can do to improve transport on the A14.
I’m always keen to support Suffolk businesses, so it was great to hear their views on these issues.
